Pink Is My Signature Color

My title comes from a line in Steel Magnolias. Great movie.

Mani For Less

Pink: Sinful Colors - Glass Pink (2 coats) $1.99
Accent Pink: Wet n Wild Coloricon- Jewels For Your Highness (1 coat over Glass Pink) $2.99

The Wet n Wild mirrors the new China Glaze Prismatic collection. I surprised myself by loving this polish! It's mostly pink with some random colored glitter thrown in.

Yay for cheap manis!

My First Butter London

I had a big polish swap with the lovely Abbie from AbbieNail. I received a box with each nail polish individually wrapped in pretty paper and bubble wrap. I was like a little kid at Christmas opening each one! She included two Butter Londons which she did not particularly like because I asked to try them.

Here is the first (look at Abbie's post about this polish here)

Butter London - Snog (2 coats)

Abbie's main complaint with this polish was that the formula was runny. I agree that the formula is a bit runny, and I did flood my cuticles, but it didn't bother me too much. I blame myself for the flooding because I'm never as careful as I should be and thin formula means you have to be extra careful! As for the color: I love it! So bright!

What do you guys think about Butter London?

Sweet Swatches from OPI Holland Collection

I got four nail polishes from the OPI Holland Collection and I wanted to swatch them for you!

First up is Pedal Faster Suzi (3 Coats)

A sweet baby pink with light silver shimmer.

Next is Kiss Me on My Tulips

Hot pink creme. Does anyone else feel like an idiot pretending to speak French when you use the word "creme" or is it just me??

Next is Red Lights Ahead...Where?

Coral/Red creme.

Last swatch is I Have a Herring Problem

Blue/Grey with gold shimmer. Seems like a darker version of I Don't Give a Rotterdam to me.

If you want to see I Don't Give a Rotterdam (my favorite so far) you can look back at my previous post Once In a Blue Moon.

Which is your favorite?

I Think in Pink

I normally don't like soft pinks on my nails but for some reason this nail polish caught my eye and I love it!

Revlon - Popular
Top Coat: Seche Vite

Can you see the pretty silver glitter in it?

Valentine's Colors

This is a Valentine's Day manicure! I used a straw to splatter the pink nail polish. I used a needle to apply the white. This was my first splatter and I, as always, need more practice.

Base: Ulta - Red Carpet Red
Pink: Sally Hanson Insta-Dri - Pink Blink
White: Revlon - White on White
Top Coat: Seche Vite

Valentine's Day is only four days away. Buy flowers for someone.
