First Mani for Less

Unfortunately, I had trouble with this mani because the polish bubbled. Sigh. Not all cheap polishes bubble. I promise!! The matte coat works wonderfully though!

Color: NYC - Lavender Cupcake ($1.99)
Matte: NYC - Matte Me Crazy ($1.99)


Even with the bubbling it is a pretty color. Maybe I'll keep it for nail art.

    This looks great as a matte! Mine didn't bubble so maybe it was something else, or you got a bad batch! :(

    Love, love, love the lavender colour. Then again I've never met a lavender/lilac/any shade of light purple that I didn't love. I've never thought of making one matte, though! That's a great idea.

    It's a very pretty color and I can tell you that even high end polishes bubble. It's all about the temperature. humidity and if there's some fans near you.
    This also mean that if the temperature and humidity are normal and not too high and if you are not sitting within the reach of fans (air con. ventilator, whatever) then even a polish that did bubble before - will not ;-))

    I'm wearing essie's neo whimsical today and that bubbled like crazy so its not jut cheap polishes that do it x :-)

    Investing in some inexpensive outlet timers can allow you to set your lights to turn on and off at predetermined times. satta king
