Valentine's Colors

This is a Valentine's Day manicure! I used a straw to splatter the pink nail polish. I used a needle to apply the white. This was my first splatter and I, as always, need more practice.


Base: Ulta - Red Carpet Red
Pink: Sally Hanson Insta-Dri - Pink Blink
White: Revlon - White on White
Top Coat: Seche Vite

Valentine's Day is only four days away. Buy flowers for someone.

Read All Over

What's black and white and read all over? My newspaper nails! This is my first time doing these and I love it!


Base: Ulta - Pink-A-Boo (3 coats and it still wasn't opaque, which is annoying)
Top Coat: Seche Vite

The book is William Shakespeare's Macbeth, in case you couldn't tell. It's my favorite Shakespeare play!

Polka Dots

I don't have a dotting tool, so I used a bobby pin to make the dots. I absolutely love these, but I wish I had made the dots more precise. As per usual, I need more practice!

Gold and Glitter

After I did these nails, I thought that they would be good for Mardi Gras because the glitter is mostly purple and green!


Gold: China Glaze - Champagne Bubbles
Glitter: Spoiled* - Pet My Peacock
Top Coat: Seche Vite




*This nail brand is only $1.99. It's my first time trying it and it wasn't perfect, but it was definitely worth the price. I'm going to try more in the future.

Hearts

This is my first attempt at free hand hearts. They are a little messy, but I love the idea so I'll just have to practice some more!
