Dark Pink: Sally Hanson Xtreme Wear - Rockstar Pink (3 coats)
Black: China Glaze - Some Like It Haute (3 coats)
Top Coat: Seche Vite

Pearls and Half Moon Manis

This is my first time using 3D nail art. This is also my first time trying a half moon manicure. I need a little more practice! I like the colors together though!


Base: Revlon - Blue Lagoon (Took 3 coats)
White: Sally Hanson Xtreme Wear - White On
Top Coat: Seche Vite

My First Roses

Here is my first attempt at roses. I free-handed them, which should be pretty obvious because they're a little messy. 


Base: Sally Hanson Insta-Dry - Pink Blink
Light Purple: Essie - Lilacism 
Dark Purple: Sally Hanson Xtreme Wear - Plum Power
Leaves: China Glaze - Glittering Garland 
Top Coat: Seche Vite

Ombre Nails are so fabulous! I saw this idea first on Chloe's Nails . Hers look better, but I'm still excited about mine!

Terms:

Ombre: Taking one color and going from light to dark

Franken: Mixing two or more nail polishes together to make your own color

The green Holly-Day was such a fun green and had great coverage in two coats. 


This is my first time using Finger Paints. I love the flakies!

The Color Wheel

I'm sure you all know what a color wheel is. I wanted to post a color wheel to show you one way choose colors for your nails!


Compliment colors are colors that are opposite each other on the color wheel. For example: Green and Red are compliment colors. 


Compliment colors look great together, so try it out next time you want more than one color on your nails.
